These are definitely very comfortable, right out-the-box, no real break-in time needed! But...this is the 1st pair of Nike shoes that were actually too BIG! I've owned several hundred pairs of Nike shoes over the past 20 years and I've worn a men's size 14...this is the 1st pair that I had to return & exchange for a men's size 13 and they fit nearly perfect! The only issue for me at least, is that my heels still feels like they're slightly slipping; not sure if it's the material that's used for the heel cushion?

My son doesn't like to wear shoes often and is picky when it comes to them. Particularly if the toe box is narrow. These were perfect for him because the toe box is on the wider side.
